FAQ
-
How can I buy your flowers?
Our flowers, grown at Faraway Farm Alpacas, bloom April–October. You can purchase a bouquet after a Wild Muse Arts concert.
-
Where are the concerts held?
Wild Muse Concerts take place in the barn at Faraway Farm Alpacas in Yorktown Heights, NY.
-
What should I expect at a concert?
Each event combines high-caliber live chamber and solo music with flowers grown on-site and inspired by the season and Anthropocene. Audiences sit in a barn with alpacas grazing just outside.
-
Is the farm accessible? Is there parking?
The barn is ground-level and there is a portapotty outside. We encourage guests to wear comfortable shoes as the ground around the barn is natural terrain. Free parking is available on site. We also encourage carpooling to reduce environmental impact.
-
Do you sell flowers at the concerts?
Yes! Seasonal bouquets are often available for purchase after the event. You may pre-order your flowers when you buy your ticket as an add-on. A bouquet is included with a VIP ticket.
-
Are children welcome?
Absolutely. Our concerts are family-friendly, though we ask that young children be supervised.
-
What sustainability practices do you follow?
We grow flowers organically without pesticides using compost from the animals on the farm. We print minimal materials and have digital program notes. Refreshments are sourced from local bakeries and cafés to minimize food miles and support local businesses.
