SEED explores themes of emergence: the unfolding of musical ideas, the first burst of life, and our relationship with the earth. The program features works such as Emilie Mayer’s dramatic Piano Trio in B minor, Gabriela Ortiz’s Trifolium (referencing soil-restoring clover), and “How to Breathe” from The Trees Speak by composer-in-residence Angelique Mouyis.

FLIGHT reflects on the final stages of the garden's lifecycle and the role of migration. The program features the full premiere of our commission by Angelique Mouyis (The Trees Speak), Germaine Tailleferre’s Piano Trio, alongside contemporary works by composers such as Arlene Sierra (Butterflies Remember a Mountain) and Margaret Brouwer (Skyriding).
